Mr. Wade Harrison Miser

BURLESON -- Wade H. Miser joined his family in eternal rest with our Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, Nov. 24, 2008. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel of Burleson, 201 W. Buford St., Burleson. Private burial. Wade was born May 23, 1917, in Myra. He married Myldred McGilvray of Gainesville on Sept. 11, 1938. He worked for Conoco Oil Co. and Consolidated Vultee, now Lockheed Martin. He worked for the city of Fort Worth for over 30 years and retired as an inspector for the Public Works Department. Wade was a member of Masonic Lodge 942 for over 50 years, the Moslah Shrine and Scottish Rite. He and Myldred were members of the Happy Gadabout Camping Club for over 20 years and traveled to many parts of the U.S. and Canada. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; two sisters; and great-great-granddaughter, Ella Masters. He was loved by all of his family and we were blessed to have had so much time with him here on earth. We will miss you, Granddaddy! Survivors: His wife of 70 years, Myldred; his son, Kenneth and wife, Louise; his daughter, Barbara Orr and husband, Tommy; grandchildren, Ken Jr., Blake, Jake, Ann Marie Miser, Stormy, Trayce Orr and Tami Orr Schimming; great-grandchildren, Lauren Masters, C.B, Dusty, Maralinda and Chase Miser, Mikel and Casey McKinley and Veda George, Kaci, Kaily and Kelcy Orr, Pricilla and Brianna Schimming and Harley Orr; and great-great-grandchildren, Jaiden and Cade Masters.
