Mr. Robert Curtis Campbell, Sr.

FORT WORTH -- Robert C. Campbell Sr. of Fort Worth passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at New Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 2600 E. Rosedale St., Fort Worth. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Guardian Funeral Home, with a wake at 7 p.m. Robert was born Jan. 10, 1932, in Shiro to the late S.J. and Mattie Campbell. He was employed by Roger's Factory in Fort Worth and Ridglea Country Club for 17 years. He attended Fort Worth schools and proudly served in the U.S. Army. Survivors: Wife, Melva of Fort Worth; sister, Mable Nelson of Las Vegas, Nev.; sons, Robert Campbell Jr., Michael C. Campbell, Bobby Wayne Conley, Reginald Keith Campbell, Tony Conley and Derrick Campbell; daughters, Eunitrice Kelley, Betty Jean Griffith and Sherry Washington; stepdaughters, Michelle Wright Browning, Laura Ralston and Sylvia Johnson; stepson, Michael Ralston; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other friends and relatives.
