FORT WORTH -- Patricia Ann Salinas, 60, was a lifelong resident of Fort Worth. After a long courageous battle with cancer, she went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, surrounded by her family. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at All Saints Catholic Church, Fort Worth. She was born Dec. 31, 1950. She was a nurse for 20-plus years, caring for patients and their loved ones. Her true passion in life was caring for her children and their families. She was a beautiful, elegant woman and a legendary cook who loved music, reading and movies. She was preceded in death by her father, Ponciano Martinez. Survivors: Husband of 40 years, Richard R. Salinas; children, Richard Salinas (Veronica), Rebecca Gonzalez (Juan), Olivia Frias (Rene), Stephen Salinas (Mary), Danielle Arriaga (Daniel) and Nick Salinas; 17 grandchildren; mother, Socorro Martinez; and brothers and sisters, Virginia Flores, Tony Martinez, Joe Martinez, Carmen Caldwell, Michael Martinez, Jesse Martinez, Maria Aguilar, Tina Perez, Raymond Martinez, Paul Martinez and Cleo Martinez.
