Patricia (Pat) Lynn Hatton (Brown), age 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at her home in Springtown, TX. She was born March 26, 1940 in Kansas City, MO, to Harry Harlow Brown and Patricia Constance Brown (Hillias). She was a graduate of Southeast High School and went on to receive her botany degree. She was married for a time to Fredrick Leonard Hatton and had seven children, whom she adored. She was a homemaker, but also worked in the restaurant and retail industries. She was especially creative and talented. She painted, wrote poems, drew, and was a fabulous seamstress. She was also an avid reader. She was a quiet person who cared deeply about others and her family and friends will miss her gentle spirit. She is survived by her brother, Harry Harlow Brown, her seven children, Fred Hatton, Jenni Contreras, Shaun Hatton-Foust, Debby Richard, Shane Hatton, Lance Hatton and Paige Parsons, her 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, her niece, Cory Brown, nephews Chris and Peter Brown, as well as her cousins Christi Cassidy, Robin Smith, Jeff Hale, and Jessica Danner. The family would like to thank the hospice center, VITAS Healthcare, for assisting in their Mother’s care. A get-together to honor Pat will be held at her home in Springtown, TX on January 6th from 12 to 4 PM.
