Jean Gregori, 93, of Fort Worth passed away early Saturday morning, October 14th, in Fort Worth. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 10:00-11:30am, at Evergreen at Hulen Bend (second floor Media Room), 6301 Granbury Cut-off, Fort Worth, Texas 76132. Cremation, per Jean’s wishes, will follow. Jean, originally Thelma Jean, was born on September 18, 1924 to Jessie and Clarence “Blacky” Tarkington, in Pasadena, Texas. Jean was the youngest child of three with two older brothers (Horace and Jack). Through a second marriage of her mother, Jean also had two brothers and a sister (Robert, Brooks and Sylvia). The large family was raised outside Houston Texas. Jean married Harry McClure Burleson in 1941 and together they had three children, Harry McClure Jr., James Douglas, and Karen Lynn. Jean was married two more times, but had no additional children. Jean enjoyed a long and active professional career in Dallas as a dental hygienist and an electrologist. She ran her own business for more than forty years. Jean enjoyed traveling, fashion, her family, and spiritual exploration and development. Jean will be affectionately remembered as a lively, loving, woman who embraced life with curiosity and joy. Jean leaves behind, three children, eleven grandchildren, and nine great grand children (with one more on the way). All were blessed to received Jean’s special caring and love. Survivors: Sons Harry McClure Burleson, and James Douglas Burleson, daughter Karen Lynn Crawford, grandchildren; Nissa, Mac, Megan, Bridget, James, John Douglas, Jesse, Joshua, Joseph, Ryan, Russell; and great grandchildren Cate, Jack, Julianna, Daphne, Joseph, Hanna, Joseph G., Sam, and Henry.
