Mrs Faye Lynn Biggs Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

WEATHERFORD -- Faye Lynn Biggs, 65, peacefully left her beloved family on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010. Memorial service: 4 p.m. Friday at Willow Park Baptist Church, 601 Ranch House Road, Willow Park. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Faye Lynn was born July 22, 1945, and was a lifelong Weatherford resident. She graduated from Weatherford High School in 1963 and Married Clifford Biggs in May 1963. Faye Lynn loyally served the school districts of Weatherford (29 years), White Settlement (eight years) and Grand Prairie (two years) for nearly four decades. Her longevity of service to the children, teachers and administrators of these communities help define the generosity of her heart. Faye Lynn's many friends of all ages will sorely miss her infectious laugh, the frequent trips to the movies and the many shared conversations regarding family, children and grandchildren. Faye Lynn cherished the trips, visits and activities shared with "The WW," a group of women she met while working at Weatherford ISD, and often spoke of the special bond they each enjoyed. Faye Lynn was preceded in death by her mother and father, Blake and Charlene Gill; a son, Kenneth Wayland Biggs; her brother, Michael Ray Gill; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. B.L. Gill, and her maternal grandmother, Elsie Jones Debusk. Survivors: Her husband of 47 years, Clifford Biggs; sons, David Biggs of Fort Worth and Duane Biggs of Keller; daughter-in-law, Lori Biggs; her prized and perfect grandchildren, Ashley, McKenna and Major Biggs; her sister, Sandra Garvin and her brother-in-law, Homer Garvin; her special nephews and nieces, Ron Garvin, Rhonda Richey and Shannon Jones. Faye Lynn additionally leaves behind great-nephews and great-nieces, Daniel and Kayle Richey and Victoria Jones; a large and loving extended family; and countless close friends.
