TROPHY CLUB -- TROPHY CLUB- Carl Louis Wood, 72, passed away peacefully on Monday, 9 Oct 2007, at his home. FUNERAL: At his request, separate memorial services will be conducted in Austin, Texas and Tacoma, Washington. MEMORIALS- In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the �American Cancer Society� in his name. Carl was born 7 October 1935 in Long Beach, Ca to Carl Jennings Wood (USN) and Alberta Rose Heines of Brooklyn, New York. Carl served with the United States Coast Guard as a Merchant Seaman 1952-53 and honorably served in the United States Army 1953-56. Carl married Judith Ann Siemons of Tacoma, Washington in 1959 and later widowed in 1979. A Millwright by trade, Carl was a gifted Welder, Pipe Fitter, Carpenter, Master Electrician, Mechanic and a Champion Billiards player. Carl enjoyed classical music, surf fishing, camping, playing a good game of Solitaire and most of all- Carl enjoyed telling stories over a cold beer and being around his family and friends. In 1973, Carl was honored by Centralia College and placed on the Presidents list of �Honored Students.� Carl was a proud Father, Grand-Father and Great-Grand-Father. SURVIVORS: Son Ronald Wood and wife, Shelley of Washington; grandchildren Joe and Sean; great grandchildren Carter and Jenn. Son Mark Wood and wife Jeanette of Texas; grandchildren Kristina, David, Michael, Danielle and Christopher. Son Brian Wood of Washington; grandchildren Shayla and Sera. Son Kristopher Jellesed of Washington. Carl was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Judith Ann Siemons; May they both rest in peace together and forever.
