Audrey Giddens

FORT WORTH -- Audrey S. Giddens, 97, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2007. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Saint Christopher Episcopal Church, 3550 Southwest Loop 820. Visitation: A reception will be held at 1 p.m. in the parish hall. Audrey was born Nov. 5, 1909, in Hot Springs, Ark. She was a homemaker, a wife and a mother. With her family, she moved to New Mexico as a teenager. She married Irvin Rader Grose and they lived in El Paso and raised three children. After Irvin passed away, Audrey married Mitchell "Mike" Giddens. Before her 90th birthday, she moved to Fort Worth and in January 2004, she moved to Springfield, Va. She again became a resident of Texas in April 2007. Survivors: Children, Gale Grose, and wife, Frances, Brenda Seaver and husband, Kenneth, Beverly Rouge and husband, Joseph, also Diana, John and George Giddens, Susan Thomas and Mitch Giddens; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in El Paso at Evergreen East in the family plot the first part of July.
